Program to Salute NAMME’s Founders & ‘60 Minutes’ Ed Bradley

Washington, DC, March 22, 2007 — The National Association of Minority Media Executives will hold its ‘Annual Celebration of Diversity” Awards dinner, recognizing a multicultural slate of industry trailblazers at 7 pm. March 29th at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Washington, DC. The event will take place during the week of the American Society of Newspaper Editors Annual Conventio n.

As a prelude to the dinner, a special reception will be held recognizing the founders of the 17-year-old group, representing multicultural media executives in all aspects of media. NAMME Chair Mei-Mei Chan , vice president of advertising, The Seattle Times, will serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies paying tribute to this year’s winners by acknowledging their numerous contributions not only to media, but to the world at large.
